Northumbria Police say theyre determined to catch those responsible
Northumbria Police say they're treating the death of a 40 year old man in a flat-fire in Blyth as murder.
Police were called at 11.39am on Tuesday the 14th of February to the flat at Nordale House.
The 40 year old was pronounced dead at the scene and after the post mortem, Officers confirmed they're treating his death as suspicious.
An incident room has been set up and Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
DCI Ian Bentham leading the investigation says:
" I'm appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of this flat who saw anyone coming or going or acting suspiciously to get in touch. I would like to reassure people that we have a team of detectives investig this incident and we are doing everything we can to find the person responsible"
